Shyne Eghosa Obazee (b. 1975) is a Nigerian-born, self-taught abstract artist based in Barcelona.
His work explores memory and identity through bold, textured compositions rooted in repetition, materiality, and gesture. Working primarily on wood panels with acrylics, oil sticks, pastels, and fabric, his practice draws from traditional African forms while engaging a contemporary, cross-cultural language.
His work embraces the raw, unrefined nature of materials, treating each piece as a quiet conversation between history, place, and personal memory.
